I am non sure what y'all mean past request if I was able to copy and paste photos in the system from my camera. You lot would have to explain that farther; I have no idea what you mean.
I am adding two screen prints of what happens. In the first screen, information technology asks me where I want to get the pictures from. H is the drive for my camera so I click on that.
In the second motion picture, Information technology shows some pictures on the lesser that have already been downloaded (before this problem started) and the ones on the top are the ones I am trying to import from my camera. Merely as you lot see, at that place is no push button to click on to import them. You accept to close the screen; there is nowhere to go from hither.

No, I had not made any changes to my figurer. Even so, when I went to settings in Microsoft Photos and tried to give my feedback; I discovered I am not the only ane with this trouble; several other people reported it likewise.
The Microsoft tech I spoke to today did a sfc scan for ages and it came back as cypher incorrect with my computer. He even uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Photos and of course I rebooted. It notwithstanding is the same.
It is like this on a friend'southward computer too, totally different make than mine.
I will have a closer look at your instructions tomorrow morning when I am fresher in the brain. Thanks and then much; will allow y'all know if annihilation helps. I have come to the determination that the programme has a glitch in information technology, which was suggested to me by Microsoft techs; non sure only I will effort what you advise.

The problem merely fixed itself one day, or maybe Microsoft stock-still the program, non certain but it is working fine now.

This isn't a solution to your problem; it'southward a workaround, but I actually prefer doing it this mode:
Instead of doing what you are trying, remove the media card from the photographic camera and insert it into the carte reader slot on the computer, if you lot have a reader slot.
