Baked Mexican Cheese Dip - Creamy, spicy, and super cheesy!  The perfect dip for game day, get togethers or just because!

This cheese dip has been in the family for about at least 35 years. It is known as "The Dip" in the family, so I had to rename it and come up with something else for you. But, it will forever be known as The Dip for us.

But when it has that kind of name, when everyone knows exactly what you are talking about, you know it is a good recipe. It is loaded with cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese and spicy salsa.  Baked until super creamy and extra delicious, it will surely be a hit at your next get together.

Today I am partnering with Dairy MAX; a non-profit dairy council representing dairy farm families across Colorado, southwest Kansas, Montana, New Mexico, western Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.  As you know if you have been around here before, I am a huge proponent of real dairy being a part of your diet. Not only is it super nutritious and full of nutrients, it tastes good!

I think I have told this story before, but I live in Colorado about 20 miles from a dairy farm. The dairy delivers glass bottles of fresh milk to our door each week.  Their slogan is 24 hours from Moo to You. So you can tell how important freshness is to them. And you can taste the difference. So not only am I feeding my family something I feel really good about, I am supporting local farmers in the process.

Feeding my family real nutritious dairy is important no matter what I am making.  It can be an over the top cheese dip like this, but at least I know the cream cheese, sour cream, and cheddar cheese are all packed with vitamins and minerals that we need.  And this Crockpot Cheese Dip is perfect for game day and it disappears in no time at parties.  I have not met anyone who doesn't love it yet!

Milk and other dairy products are a major part of a healthy diet. You don't have to just eat a piece of cheese or have a glass of milk. You can make an easy dinner like Sausage Pasta Skillet that has cheese mixed in. Or  it can be having yogurt for a snack or even Banana Pancakes for breakfast that are loaded with milk.  Or just go to town on this cream cheese dip, up to you!

Cheese Dip is pretty much a staple in every house during football season, and this Mexican cheese dip is a fun way to mix it up!  A little hot salsa goes a long way, but if you like it extra hot, feel free to mix in extra hot sauce. You can even make it ahead of time and have it waiting for you.  Just put it in the crockpot and have it hot and bubbly for a party!

So the next time you are going to make a cheese dip, mix it up!  Everyone will love this version of cream cheese dip with a kick! You can find tons more dairy recipes at DairyMax.
